  • Each state in the U.S. establishes its own threshold for reporting data breaches, with variations across all states. A prudent benchmark to adhere to is 300. By ensuring that each database generated by SQL Simulator contains no more than 1 or 2 SSNs, you can remain below this threshold. It's important to note that individuals affected by a data breach must still be notified, although there's no obligation to inform the state or the press.
